What platform will WCC be using?

WCC will be held on SEEDS Online Career Convention Platform

What is the date and time for this convention?

This convention will be held from 27th to 29th October 2021 at the following times:
27 October 2021: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
28 October 2021: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
29 October 2021: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
However, the platform will remain accessible to all participants, recruiters, and talents alike, for 24 hours throughout the 2.5 days.

What information / documents required for participation?

- Company profile
- Company logo
- Vacancy detailsOur platform administrator will contact the company’s representative for further details.

Is there an exhibition fee?

No, this is a pro-bono career convention.

Once the company’s application is submitted, what are the next steps?

Our team will review your application and get back to you within 3 working days with further information and confirmation

When is the registration deadline?

8th October 2021

Will there be penalty charges if the company does not show up?

No, but do let us know at least week prior to the convention.

How do I cancel my participation as an exhibitor?

You may do so by sending an email to officer-in-charge: nasrul.awalludin@talentcorp.com.my, no later than 13th October 2021

Do actual interviews take place during the convention?

Yes. As a recruiter, your company will have the ability to schedule interviews with shortlisted talents on the platform itself. The time and day of interview is at the sole discretion of the two parties as the platform is accessible 24 hours during the convention dates.

Is there a platform guide for employers to refer to?

Yes, there is! You may refer to the video guide below or download our pdf guidelines for reference.

What time can employers start “setting up” their booths?

Fret not, employers’ “booths” will be set up by the organising team with all companies’ information provided to us during registration. Should your company need to edit any details, that can be done by logging in to the platform using your given unique ID and Password to edit your profile where necessary.

What time can employers start “breaking down” their booths?

There is no need for employers to remove their information from the platform as that will be done on the organiser’s end. We do however strongly encourage employers to compile and download all the important information after the event as access to the platform will be withdrawn by 3 November 2021.

What is the mechanism for candidates to approach employers?

The platform acts like a social media page whereby talents may click on employer’s profile to browse through vacancies and chat with employers. Chat is accessible for 24 hours.

Is it possible for \ candidates to drop their CVs after 5.00 pm?

Yes, the platform will run for 24 hours for both talents and recruiters to utilise.

What are the benefits of participating in this convention?

Do I have access to the platform after the convention?

You will lose access to the platform on 3 November 2021. We highly recommend you to compile and download all important information you have collected.

What is the capacity for each webinar session?

500 pax/session

Will the webinar session be live and cross-posted?

Yes. The session will be cross-posted live on TalentCorp’s social media page

Will the webinar session be recorded?

WCC will be held on SEEDS Online Career Convention PlatformYes, and the recording can be watched on the platform at any time within the convention period

Will a virtual background be provided?

WCC will be held on SEEDS Online Career Convention PlatformYes, a virtual background will be provided and we humbly request that it is used during your webinar session.

What is the date for the dry run?

Tentatively scheduled on 28th October 2021. We will be doing technical checkup 15 mins before every webinar session starts.

Will there be a Q&A session?

It is up to the webinar organisers on the format/agenda. Ideally, you should have a Q&A session to increase interactivity.

Do I have to register for the webinar sessions separately?

Yes, each webinar session is limited to 500 participants and each session has its own registration link. You may click the registration button below to register.

Is there a deadline for registration?

Registration is open from 8 October 2021 to 29 October 2021

What documents are required for registration?

You do not need to upload any documents as your talent profile may serve as your resume. But we strongly encourage you to upload your updated CV and relevant documentations such as portfolios, certificates.

Do I have to pay to participate in this convention?

No fees will be imposed for this convention.

What should I bring?

CV and relevant certificates. You may upload your CV through the virtual platform.

What employers will be there?

You may refer to the list of employers on the platform. The list will be updated from time to time as new employers are added.

Will there be an opportunity for me to be interviewed by potential employers during the convention?

Yes, interviews may take place during the convention itself up to employers’ availability.

Is the virtual chat room open continuously during the fair or only during assigned times?

Yes, the virtual chat room will be open continuously during the fair so you can drop a message anytime! You may not get a reply immediately if the recruiter is offline.

What technology do I need for the fair?

A smartphone, a laptop, good internet connection and maybe a web camera, speaker and a microphone for possible interviews.

Do I have access to the platform after the convention?

You will lose access to the platform on 30 October 2021. We highly recommend you to compile and download all important information you have collected. Don’t forget to ask your potential employer’s email or office number to follow up on your application.

How do I navigate the career convention platform?

The platform works like a social media page. Think LinkedIn where you can edit your talent profile to appeal to employers, view employer’s profile page and browse through vacancies. You can also have a live chat with employers.There is a video guide at the end of this page or you may download our pdf guide for ease of reference.

Will this convention be open to non-Malaysians?

No. This convention is only open to Malaysian Female.
